Swee Choon Tim Sum Restaurant

Not a beautiful cafe or an atas restaurant.

Just an ordinary eatery that serves good dimsums
at reasonable price! In usual cases, we will have
dim sums in the morning as breakfast or maybe
lunch/hi-tea but here's a lobang for everyone to have
it during dinner time or even supper, awesome or not! ;P

Im finally here after hearing about this place umpteen
times, was there around half past seven and it's
considerably crowded there was even a queue and
people were busy grabbing the menu ticking the items
they want while waiting. This scene reminded me of
the well-known Tim Ho Wan in HongKong which we
queued for one and a half hours. Lucky us got ourselves
a seat at Swee Choon after a mere five minutes wait.

Enough said, time for photo bombing!
what is Dim Sum without har gaos and siew mais!
Hmm but this is just err..ordinary hahaha
I love chee cheong fun with light soy sauce and sesame
oil rather than the sweet sauce (S$1.80)
if I never remember wrongly this should be one of their
signature dishes, Mee Sua Kueh! I am not a mee sua lover
but i really like this cos it is so crispy on the outside and
you can see and taste strands of mee sua which is super shiok
Guo Tie (Pan fried dumplings) with cabbage and minced meat,
the photo tells it all. I cannot resist guo tieeee man
their Liu Sha Bao (Salted egg yolk custard Bun, S$3.30 for 3)
is something you can die for! I have tried many others and I
can easily rank this in my list as TOP 3
great balance between saltiness from the salted egg yolk and
sweetness from the custard, beware that you may be in a mess as
the filling ooze out without warning! so heavenly and sinful of course
pan fried carrot cake with little bits of preserved sausages
and shredded raddish
banana and prawn fritters! since when banana and
prawns are best friends??!
something sweet to end the day, red bean pancakes ;)
it could have been better if they can be more generous
with the red bean paste

Regardless if you're a hungry clubber,
OR you're a starving employee who knocked off late from work
OR you're simply a dim sum lover, this the
just right place for you!

ps: my bad again, i don't recall the pricing of each
items but the total bill came up to S$30.00  ;P
